其实TPO阅读的文章中出现的专业词汇是可以应用到听力上来的，因为两者的话题类型相似，因而词汇上彼此重合的几率也很大。
在这里，一定要留意和文章的主旨直接相关的关键性的专业词汇，因为是和文章的主旨相关，所以理解到了关键性的专业词汇，基本上就能够把握文章内容的整体走向，至少在主旨和某些细节提的选择上会有一个比较明确的方向。
而对于关键性的专业词汇，要把握两点：
（1）.单词的音要听准确，保证文章中第二次出现这个音的时候要能识别出来，这部分练习一定要在平时练跟读的过程中做好，提升自己识别读音的能力;
（2）. 要听清楚对它所做的解释，需要对它一个基本的概念上的把握，
比如说这是一种艺术流派，特点有什么;
或者这是一个洞穴的名字，讲这种洞穴教授在强调什么方面;
或者再细一点，这是一种细菌，主要有什么作用等等之类的;
如果解释没能听得很清楚，至少也要能判断这是一个专业名词。开始练习时，要先从听写和精读做起。
