Do you work or study?

回答1：

I'm currently working. It's a fairly run-of-the-mill nine-to-five job in an insurance office. Essentially, it's a stopgap until I can find employment in my specialist field which is cybersecurity. 

词汇：

currently 目前

run-of-the-mill 平凡的、普通的

nine-to-five 朝九晚五的

stopgap 权宜之计

find employment 找到工作

my specialist field 我的专业领域

cybersecurity 网络安全

回答2：

I'm studying physics at university and I'm three quarters through a four-year course. It's been tough, but the end is in sight and I'm looking forward to moving on to full-time work. 

词汇：

three quarters through ... 完成...的四分之三了

tough 困难的

in sight 在视野中了、快到了

look forward to sth 期待...

full-time work 工作

回答3：

Actually, I do both because I'm studying law at college and working part-time in a supermarket. If I didn't have to do the latter, I wouldn't, but unfortunately, my course costs a fortune. 

词汇：

if I didn't ... I would/wouldn't ... 虚拟语气

the latter 后者

cost a fortune 花费很多钱
