Steven　Dearholt　was　born　in　San　Diego　California,　his　father　is　a　retired　Marine　of　25　years　who　is　currently　the　Vice　President　of　Sullivan　International　Group　and　his　Mother　was　a　writer　of　short　stories　and　owner　of　“Time　After　Time”　book　store.　Steven　graduated　from　University　of　Redlands　with　a　bachelor’s　degree　in　business　administration　and　is　fully　licensed　through　Harvard　investment　licensing　as　a　financial　adviser.　He　is　aspiring　to　write　a　book　to　follow　in　his　mother’s　footsteps　and　enjoys　music　and　reading　in　his　spare　time.　He　dreams　of　traveling　the　world　and　learning　about　different　cultures　and　lifestyles.　He　has　been　living　in　China　for　the　past　two　and　a　half　years　and　is　excited　to　improve　his　Chinese　and　broaden　his　perspective　of　the　world.

I'm　from　San　Diego,　California,　where　it's　warm　and　sunny　all　the　time.　I　graduated　from　the　Art　Institute　of　California　with　a　degree　in　Media　Arts　and　Animation.　The　thing　I　love　about　China　most　is　the　food,　especially　spicy　food,　and　ESPECIAL　Sichuan　hotpot!　I　really　enjoy　studying　Chinese,　so　I　know　how　hard　it　is　to　learn　English.　But　I　also　know　that　learning　can　be　fun!　I'm　always　amazed　at　how　quickly　children　pick　up　languages,　so　I　love　teaching　here　at　Best　Learning,　where　the　kids　are　so　smart　and　cute.　Let's　all　learn　together　and　have　fun!

I　have　been　teaching　in　China　for　14　months　now.　Before　coming　to　Best　Learning,　I　worked　in　the　 Shandong　Province　city　of　Dongying　for　SHANE　English.　I　have　always　wanted　to　live　in　China,　and　learn　its　culture　and　ways.　My　hobbies　are　baseball,　basketball,　soccer,　bowling,　traveling,　and　surfing　the　internet　during　my　free　time.　I　believe　that　as　teachers　we　hold　a　very　important　role　and　responsibility　in　not　only　educating　children,　but　also　ensuring　their　safety　and　overall　well　being　in　the　classroom.
